Are you a woman entrepreneur?

Gender Investing Gap

Approximately, only 3% of all venture capital is invested in companies founded solely by women. PatriarchBeard disrupts the venture industry, worth over $130 billion, and powers you with an intelligent and eloquent representative ally, who happens to be a caucasian man. He will be a proxy between your business plan and investors plus potential partners. You are the CEO and the puppeteer.

  • In 2017, only about 2 percent of the $85 billion raised in VC backing went to female-founded startups based in the U.S., according to data from research firm PitchBook. Women are also raising smaller rounds than men -- averages of $5 million and $12 million, respectively. [source: entrepreneur.com]

  • In 2019, Female founders raised 2.8% of venture capital this year. [source: TechCrunch].

  • Women-Led Startups Received Just 2.3% of VC Funding in 2020. [source: Harvard Business Review]

  • Nevertheless, National Venture Capital Association says 89 percent of partners at venture capital firms are men, the vast majority of whom are white. Truth to be told, venture capitalists tend to fund the people that look like them and ideas that match theirs; they have an unconscious bias, the same as everyone else. The problem is that the lack of diversity in the VC field has striking implications on the rest of the startup ecosystem. [source: Inc.com]

Who we are?

Founded in 2020, PatriarchBeard is a woman-led business, created by a woman entrepreneur for non-white-men entrepreneurs, dedicated to the art and craft of disrupting the patriarchy. From meeting investors, potential partners, and clients, to networking events, conferences appearances, and email signatures, we approach every project as a unique opportunity to diversify of human representation in the venture capital industry and increase your chances of getting a fair share of the $130 billion industry.

We, like you, had faced that harsh inequality. We decided it’s time to end this unjust venture capital investing bias and to create this in-your-face Equality Acceleration Program.

What People Are Saying

“It was nearly impossible to find investors. I contacted PatriarchBeard and got matched with Gabriel, who learned from me everything about my business so that he can mouth out my words, my vision, my business plan, my KPIs, and any bit of information I had shared with him. Coincidentally enough, there were no longer inappropriate questions, no weird phone calls, and no texts in weird hours. Suddenly I was able to do my work and lead the venture. I got funding relatively quickly. PatriarchBeard's work has a beautiful and timeless quality”

— Sharon Telltale, founder and CEO of AfterMath

“When I first heard about PatriarchBeard I got angry - why in our modern society women need a ‘beard’ to get the chance to be taken seriously? The truth is I had experienced a repetitive dismissal in meetings with investors so I had to check it, it was beyond personal. No funding was coming my way in two years until I let Dave do all the talking. I got a seed investment by the end of the quarter, set up offices, hired staff, and launched the product. PatricarchBeard is a work of genius.”

— J. U. O, founder, and CEO of DamnRight

“PatriarchBeard created a custom allies network for equality and diversity in the entrepreneurship world. It gave me a chance to take a stand and act on my values and societal vision. Without fail, it’s the thing, everyone, comments on. I couldn’t be happier with the work and the experience of working with them.”

— Dave Grant, an ally, and a Beard.

Finding your Beard

We would match you with the most ideal beard. He will study your business thoroughly and charismatically express it anytime you need him to. It will be your words coming out of his mouth, your business plan & vision, and your unique mindset. He will be your male mirror, at your service. So investors and other potential partners won’t get concerned about changing their bias. Tell us a little about yourself and the industry you are in and let us do the rest.

Thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you!
